Written for 30_gens prompt #21 Eye Colour.
Her children’s eyes always shone so brightly. Not only with knowledge but with the colour themselves; both of them had his eyes. His eyes had always been a bright, gold. When she first met him she had been enchanted by his eyes, she had never seen a shade quite like them ever before.
Edward had the exact same eyes, the bright gold that just seemed to sparkle in the sunlight. Al had gold eyes too but not as bright as Edward’s or his father’s. Instead his eyes seemed to be a burnish gold. However his eyes didn’t lack any shine at all.
Her eyes on the other hand were a lovely shade of brown but compared to the rest of her family, her eyes seemed so dull in comparison.
