He didn’t understand forgiveness or anything remotely close to it. She supposed, she shouldn’t really be surprised, this man after all had never shown any regret towards any of the people he had killed in cold blood. Yet it wasn’t like he didn’t have any chance to; so many people he could had felt something towards one of them at least.
She had been taught how to forgive but not how to lash out at others. He on the other hand had probably never had been taught forgiveness but had been taught about anger and how to lash out at others.
She had wanted to help him, help him understand that not everything was lost. She had prayed for guidance but had never imagined that it would be her last.
