I allways had the feeling Gameshark was never truely happy.. but...

That is the question. One of my favorites, actualy-how can Mother Brain, a "mere" sprite, know and control so much? What was her relationship with King Charles? Did he reveal the nature of the Real to her? Or did she get it from somewhere else? Is she a hand of the Hands, so to speak, or the only being in Videoland that can truly call herself free of their influence?

Nice work, Ryan. I would have focused a bit more on the complexity of the Mom-DGM relationships, as well as the nemesis bond with Station, but admittedly, I'm never satisfied telling a short story. Good stuff.

I think, from a thematic perspective, sprites being 'mere sprites' is generally bunk. Sprites have become Gamemasters themselves before, after all.

Obviously, people don't always think this icly, not even sprites themselves.
