I was so excited when I saw this on the list last night and just had a chance to read it now, and it's even more fabulous than I'd hoped. I love the original and I love this. I love the voice of it, so straightforward and Rabbit-like, as if this weren't anything especially unusual. And the Doctor the same way, just enjoying another adventure. Great job, this really made me grin.
Hee, poor Rabbit. He never gets a break... It's certainly not a crossover I would have ever expected to write, but it was great fun. Thank you for the kind comment, and I'm very glad it made you grin. :D
Oh this is lovely! Just so typical of the Doctor that he can't even wander into a garden without there being an alien invasion of some sort. (huge grin)
I loved your original with bouncy!Tigger (I can sing the song by heart, I confess) and it just seemed to me that the two of them bouncing around together was bound to have consequences... *g*
I'm so pleased you enjoyed the read. I had a special fondness for your cactus story, too, but it was so right the way it was written, I couldn't think of a way to remix it. But it was a favorite of mine too. :)

I'm also with izhilzha on the little twist with the "I'm the only one" line... it's sort of sad and happy at once; sad of course, because he's the only one, and happy because Tigger considers uniqueness something to celebrate, and the Doctor is trying to join in, so he's going to be at least pretending that he's happy about it.

Thank you for the lovely comment! The bit with the lyric I had first imagined as the Doctor ensuring that he fully participated in the whole bouncing experience, by inserting himself into the song... but then yes, it struck me with the same sort of melancholy when I read it again. :)

Although, after the lovely light-heartedness, this?
But the most wonderful thing about Tiggers (and Time Lords) is - I'm the only one.
Oh, I'm the only one!
twisted in my stomach a bit. Well done.
