OMG SQUEE! first of all, I'm very sorry that this response is so late -- I've been traveling this past week. I was thrilled to find this remix awaiting me upon my return, especially since it's THIS remix fic which is something of a pet project.

your drabble is remarkable. I love how it displaces the original so fully into a different frame, smashes bits of it together with other bits. the disjointed style captures Boomer's consciousness perfectly. and it fills a gap in the fic (of course, it's something that DID happen to Sharon Valerii), but also in the show -- it articulates a fragment of the transition from "human" Boomer to bitter Cylon Boomer with a clarity we never saw onscreen. bravo and thanks!!

Thank you! Sharon, in all her iterations, is my favourite character on BSG, and Boomer so often gets overlooked, so it was a lot of fun to write something for her. I was a little worried that moving the remix so fully into a different situation would be too much of a change, so I'm really glad you liked it :D
