I need to leave this as an anonymous comment to say I was also remixing iamsab this round. I loved all her Martha fics and I wanted to remix one of them, but I didn't think I could pull off a Doctor POV. And I even considered remixing this one from the tailor's POV but I couldn't figure out how he'd done it so I gave up and wrote in another fandom.

But you! You are fucking brilliant. The time travel business is totally great and I also love that you had brilliant Martha figure it out. And the ending with the promise of more happening next is just lovely.

Hokay. I actually just went back and reread my story, and I am so impressed at what you managed to do here, how you took dialogue and description and made it something new entirely. And it's also such a brilliant, exciting explanation as to how it all worked out when I'll tell you, even *I* didn't know how he managed to make that pocket.

And though I never want Tennant to leave the show ever, if he regenerates, I really hope it's into this guy. He and Martha have the best relationship ever.

ha! See, I see a ginger-haired guy in a fic and (if he's not Turlough) my brain goes "Future Doctor!" And yeah, I think this Eleven and Martha would get along well-- in my head he's much more laid back, less manic and at once at ease and still smart and calculating-- I kind of pictured him as a mix between Five and Seven. Realizes sometimes it's best to be subtle and underestimated, and yet he's willing to go through a lot of careful study and preparation to be the best subtle he can be :)

Gosh, but I love this! There's nothing better than a ginger!Doctor as a regular bloke, and acting as something of an enchanted tailor. You know, there's a tradition of enchanted tailors in literature! Really wonderful stuff! Sab lucked out when she got you.
