A ridiculously contrived chain of circumstances deflects his path at the last moment. Twice, he dies on the way.
Ahahaha! God, that's just so ridiculously perfect, because this kind of thing can only happy to *Jack*.

ha, i love this. thank you - and i'm surprised and pleased to get another remix this late in the game: i thought i was done.

great remix idea to merge all the failed attempts into one lifetime, and thus make it all the more frustrating. i also like the idea that time is just being spiteful towards him - it really emphasises what the doctor says about him being wrong. it's not just time lords and the TARDIS who hate him, but time itself.
