I don't read a lot of Owen/Jack, but I did enjoy this. Owen's characterization especially struck me as very well done; the concern and the somewhat intentional detachment from it feels just right.
I have to say that when I was reading through your stories Let It Go really jumped out at me. It's just a brilliantly clever idea that Jack would probably need some 'downtime' every so often.

Ooh, I love that. Really enjoyed this and the way it complements the original, with both of them being about the routine and little material things before and after, rather than the scene itself.
