okay, i have to confess ignorance of the character, but this is damn gorgeous, girl. i love the structure -- one line at a time, the narration and the tales she told him all contained in each -- and, yeah. just so pretteh. ♥

oh, and that was me who just commented on the other fics, as well, but couldn't be arsed to sign a name, 'cause i'm lazy like that.

I'm so glad you liked it. I always had a fondness for Gibbs, so I was thrilled when I found the original. Also, you know, any excuse to watch Jack Sparrow again. <3
