Throwing Xander into the mix as Georgie's one night stand was hilarious and bittersweet. If Dawn was crushed Xander didn't show up for her funeral, I bet she'd be crushed cubed to know he slept with her boss...

That squid creature is all kinds of disconcerting, though it seems Dawn is on its trail. It seems you can take the watcher out of her life span, but you can't keep her from trying to save people. It's all wildly entertaining.

Make that double-crushed with a side of heart-broken with while armed with a big honkin' sword. :-)

And Xander once more manages to go for the woman who's not quite human. It's like he's got radar or something.

The squid demon was a fun MacGuffin to come up with, and it gave Dawn a really good reason to keep up her reaper rebellion against George about letting her work with the Council.
