ASLDKJSGKJAGJ KEITA. awwwww, god i felt so bad for Keita through this whole thing. But i loved the POV switch, how at first Keita is so excited, but then eventually he's just tired and misses Ryuichi and Ryohei, and he doesn't really understand that they're missing him just as much.

and his little snatches of what the other two were doing were all so cute, especially when they're singing together and tangled up in bed together, but the whole time I was just like "AWW KEITA" sadface.

Anyway, I really enjoyed this, and I'm glad you picked a w-inds. fic since there hasn't been any new fic in the fandom in ages. Thanks so much!

I'm so glad you liked it! I'd originally thought that I'd remix one of your Hikaru no Go or JE stories (aka one of the fandoms I actually know), and then I couldn't get the idea of what Keita was thinking and doing during "Sounds Like" out of my head. Which led to me scrambling around for everything w-inds. related I could find to try and educate myself on the group enough that I could write that story, since yours were the only stories I'd ever read in the fandom previous to a few weeks ago.

I've totally started listening to their music, too. :-) So, thanks for introducing me to a new group, as well as for providing a really great story that was a lot of fun to remix.

lol, you're much braver than I would be to try and remix in a fandom you've never written in before. But I'm glad you enjoyed yourself, and the fic turned out really well, and it's great that you've started listening to w-inds. as well. They were my first Jpop group, and I still love them to pieces (plus holy shit they are about 23984723 times hotter live than on your computer, if you can even imagine that).

haven't we remixed each other before? or had each other for smutmus or something? i swear that we did.

I can barely imagine what it must have been like to see them live. When I first started doing research, I turned up a lot of videos and pictures from when they were, like, three feet tall, and I had some doubts about remixing this story, after all. But then I watched the Michishirube PV and some more recent w-inds. stuff, and my doubts completely evaporated. They grew up nice.

And, yeah, we had each other for Smutmas 2003. I wrote you a Sirius/Remus story where they wore eyeliner and went clubbing, and you wrote me a Remus/Draco story where Remus hunts Draco through the rooms of Grimmauld Place. Being assigned to remix you this year felt very nostalgic. :-)
