When I first read your story, my initial thought was What if some laundry duty person notices Sheppard's t-shirt steeling habits?, but the draft was booring... so when I came up with this, I thought, Why not? - and it was so much fun to write, so thanks for the experience!

*plainitive* See, now you've gotten me wondering about the motivations of T-shirts
*g*, I spent way too much time contemplating this, too... In my head, they get more language skills the longer get worn by someone, but your take sure explains the total silence!

This is simply amazing. I have no idea how you came up with this idea, but it really works. I love the way the shirts pick up the traits of their wearers. And you gave the silky black shirt a happy ending! I was so worried for it after it missed its chance with the first shirt. Poor pining shirt! But happy endings all around, so hooray!
