This was amazing. You have captured Hisako's personality so well, and given it such depth here. You also really explored what it must be like to be these girls, trying to figure out their place in the world - something that's hard enough at that age, without adding in the complications that they face.

And your Logan here is perhaps the best I've read. I just loved this!

Oh, thank you! I'm so, so glad it worked -- I really felt like these girls needed their stories told, and there really aren't enough fics about teenage girls and their friendships, so I wanted to fill that void. And I'm glad my Logan worked, too -- he's so much fun to write!

I don't actually know the girls (I don't read comics, I just watch comic book movies), but I really admire your technique with the remix. I like that, even though you're telling a story which is perpendicular to the original, you've managed to show us the beginning of that story and the results of it, too.

Oh, thank you! I'm so happy you decided to take a chance on this despite not knowing the characters, and I'm equally happy that it worked so well for you. I remember being worried about this at first, wondering if enough of the original story was there for it to work as a true remix, and if I was taking too many liberties by adding onto its beginning and end.
