Love it - the painful realism of it and Ginny's reaction when she sees the picture of Luna. If only there were more beautifully-written Post-DH femslash fics like this :-)

this is a really beautifully written story. i sort of wish i'd read this before the original, because the slightly un-luna-like luna from that feels strange in this story (though i like the way you incorporated bits of the original in this, particularly the final reference to flying). the bit where ginny says percy is her favourite boy, and then stops and says harry, is a truly great comedy moment, whilst being terribly sad, in that it's at that moment (too young to know anything about herself) that she decides her future.

Wow, having read the original, oh, at least four years ago(!) it's amazing how well the two of them fit together. Isis wrote about the present, and you've extrapolated the future beautifully. The tang of regret is so strong here. I really enjoyed this remix :)
