Oh good God (and I mean that in a good way.)

First of all, when I looked at my fic list, this was not one that I ever would have thought that someone would remix. I was thinking the Gaeta POV in A Touch of Your Grace or... or... I don't know, but this isn't what I would have come up with, which clearly shows you are far more creative than I! :) (This is all headed towards compliments, btw.) I looked at the story choice and said "huh, that's interesting", and then the summary

Thank you! I knew you wouldn't have been expecting something like this, but I'm glad you liked it anyway. I really loved the original, and this wasn't the type of remix I thought I'd be writing, but the idea latched onto my brain while I was reading through your fic and wouldn't let go until I wrote it ;)

And I'm glad it made you laugh, because ... well, that was most of the point, really (though I did try to include shades of some of the awesome character stuff you did with the end of the original fic).

I love both fics - the original really gets the feel of an ordinary D&D session across (how no one can ever stay on topic and it inevitably derails into a discussion about orc sex), whereas this one shows how sometimes, a well-played scene *can* be magic. Also, I like how in the original, Six is very clearly only in Baltar's head, whereas here I at first thought she was Caprica, that is, really there.
