Eeee! I love this. I love how John still purposefully annoys Rodney, and I love that Rodney gets it (underneath). And the final scene just kills me, especially Rodney's dirty hands in John's wet hair, and the way he grudgingly admits that the boots are useful after all. Fabulous!

Oh, I love all the little signs of John's investment and Rodney's annoyance and acceptance, which make their life together so real. And of course John runs toward the oil fire, and the ending is so, so perfect. What a great remix, showing us a whole 'nother dimension!

This is great. I love the new structure of it, and I love the way you carry through the ideas from the first story, that John makes Rodney's life better and that John annoys the everliving hell out of him, both of those together.
