*hugs Snape* *pats Draco* Really liked this one. And a good view on some of the things driving Draco, never the easiest character to like.

Dearest remix author, I apologise for the tardy feedback to this fic!

I really love that you've turned a fic that wasn't dialogue-heavy in the slightest into one that is totally more... human, in a way, because there's more human interaction and action in this fic. Which is definitely a good thing, and I think this fic is originally one of my weaker ones. I think it's a marked improvement on mine, anyway, and you manage to get the voices so spot on for what I had in mind for the characters.

One thing that really works is how each section has evolved into anecdotal scenes to make it feel more fleshed-out and interesting. At any rate, it's way more interesting than the navel-gazing tripe I wrote, so thanks extremely much for doing such a good job.

Oh, thank you. I'm so glad you like it =D

I do like the original, with the stream-of-consciousnes, metaphors and atmospheric feel. The glimpses that I got from Draco's monologue are too intriguing to be left alone *g*

I plan to expand this remix and and write additional elements (fire, earth, air)--although that probably won't be done for months yet. Will be sure to keep you updated when that happens =)

Just curious, when you were writing the original, did you write Snape as on Dumbledore's side, on his own side, or...?

P.S. I really, really like your satire on Jonathan Swift. If I were a more productive writer, I would have written a second remix based on that.
