I was terribly excited to find you've remixed a Jack/Elizabeth fic because there needs to be more of that. But also, I'm really impressed at how clever this is, with the lines and events you've used from the original in the remix. I love it as a story in its own right as well.

I liked this Jack a lot; both he and Elizabeth know they're just stealing a piece of life from the cracks of what's possible, and that really works for me.

First and foremost, yay! there's Jack/Elizabeth fic, exactly one more than I'd ever expected. This is really great, bittersweet as their places in life preclude them from having anything serious and long-term, but also nice because it shows the depth of their kind-of friendship, too.
