Very nice. I like that she takes the nightshift to resist the urge to hunt, I think this was my favorite line:

"It isn’t like she hasn’t seen a dead person before. In fact, dead people who are in no danger of getting up and fighting back are her favorite kind of dead people."

This was great. I loved the ending, because I think it tells so much about their relationship.

She hopes that he’ll hug her and she hopes that he won’t. She might fly into a million pieces if he hugs her and she doesn’t deserve his forgiveness.

She’ll get it anyway though.

It’s why she came home.
