i just love this. love this. you really went above and beyond. i love the back story, i love the twists and turns you took to make it canon compliant. i think you kept mcgonagall's no nonsense voice well while still letting her softer side shine through. the detail of lily giving birth at her house was so imaginative, it really tied mcgonagall to the story in a way that mine didn't quite capture.

i like how harry's letter changed, how he sent her small gifts. it was beautiful. thank you so, so much.

I'm really pleased you enjoyed this and that McGonagall worked for you. It is always good to know the original author isn't horrified. :)

I enjoyed getting to play around with your story.

Oh, fantastic! I love the way you've fleshed out her relationships with Harry and with others, and this is full of light touches that really brings the whole thing to life. I very much enjoyed this! And, hmm, I also have suspicions about its authorship.

This is beautiful. I really love the way you develop the relationship from the very moment of his birth until adulthood. There are so many wonderful details in this. Lovely!

This was lovely! The way Minerva experienced the major events and witnessed smaller emblematic exchanges between the characters was incredibly touching. I really enjoyed this.
