Haha, yay! The best part about remix is getting to see which story of yours gets picked by your remixer, and while I never thought that this one would be chosen, I'm so glad it was. You've done a great job with it! Thanks so much. Moody and Tonks were great, as was Dumbledore, but the glimpses of Kreacher were my favourite. And oh, Sirius. Lovely. Just lovely!

He took Sirius' hand, and ran his thumb against the whorls of his palm. The discussion was over. Sirius let his head fall back, eyes drinking in the first rays of sunset as they hit the clouds drifting through the sky. There was silence, broken only by birds and the wind moving through the grass.

"It's beautiful here."

"I know."

"Anyone could see us here!" Remus yelled, and after a while Sirius relented, picking up speed and leaving London's urban sprawl far behind. He swept them up into loops so high they brushed against clouds, then plummeted back to ground again in ways that made his stomach attempt a break for freedom. Out here

What a lovely remix. I liked the way you showed Sirius's desire to fly, to escape.

Remus looked up, shooting Sirius a withering look. "I don't think even the Fidelius could stand up to the sight of me. Even if it could, I wouldn't want to frighten the birds."

He laughed, but Sirius shook his head. Remus seemed to see nothing but damage when he looked in a mirror, but Sirius saw resilience and quiet charm and a wholeness that he had long since given up finding in himself. "You look just the same to me," he said, not sure how to express it. "Same old Moony."

Remus looked startled, then stared at his paper again. Sirius smiled.

This was my favorite part of the original, and I think you've done a great job of showing Sirius's side of the conversation.

The absolute coolest thing about the remix is seeing a fic that you've loved for a while get a new spin, and you've done a fantastic job with just that. I love the new interactions with Tonks especially. Really nice work!
