Assignment emails have all been sent
All the assignment emails (305! and yes, I do send one to myself, just to make sure it works) have been sent. The subject line says "Your Remix/Redux IV assignment" because I am dorky like that.
Which means everyone should have directions to stories written in at least one fandom they requested.
This is what it looks like:

Just a few quick notes and reminders:
All stories are due in to me at remix@illuminatedtext.com by 11:59 PM ET on March 20th. Please be sure to put "REMIX FIC" in the subject line. Please send your story as an attachment - word, rtf and txt files are all fine - and please code in your italics (<*i>) and/or bolding (<*B>) [remove the asterisks]. Please turn off your smartquotes (the curly quotes and apostrophes). They make the formatting go strange in the database.
Please use standard story headers in your story:
Title: Your title [or the title of the original fic] (Funky Remix Subtitle)
Author: Your name (your email)
Summary:
Rating:
Fandom:
Warnings: (if applicable)
Spoilers: (if applicable)
Title, Author and URL of original story:
You can keep the original title or make up one of your own, but if you don't have a Funky Remix Subtitle, I will be giving your story one, so be warned. If you do not provide a summary or a rating, I'll be giving you those, too, so think about how much you want to rely on my judgment before you leave out any information.
Drabbles are fine for remixing, and everything but the safe story listed below is fair game, but there is a minimum word count of 500 words. Also, you do not have to remix in one of the fandoms you listed on your sign up form if something else takes your fancy; nor do you have to remix one of the stories in the fandom(s) your remixee listed. Remember, stories written for prior remixes are off-limits, with the exception of the Remus Remix (per the participants), for the HP folks, since those were remixed from specially written drabbles. Works in progress and co-written works are also off-limits. If you wish to remix a story by your remixee that has been remixed in the past, that's not the preferred situation, but it's not against the rules either, unless they've listed it as their safe story. Respect the safe story.
Please have your story betaed. I will not be editing while uploading.
The stories will be posted anonymously at first, so please don't discuss who you've got etc. with anyone (especially not the person you're
remixing), and please don't post your story anywhere until after the authors' names are revealed.
Last year, I believe the stories were up anonymously for about a week, so you shouldn't have to wait too long.
