Aw, I absolutely love this. Thank you so much!

I love how protective Dean is, and also that we get a glimpse of them working, and then in the aftermath (the banter when Sam's stiching him up is perfect), but also that we see them just having downtime, because we so rarely get that on the show. And I love that, the way you've written them, there's still so much love between them no matter what they're doing.

And of course, I love Dean coming to accept this new part as just another thing he and Sam do. You did an awesome job of showing him freaking out and then...just coming to terms and letting it be something he wants.

I could quote you so much that's awesome, but these in particular make me really happy:

Usually. Doesn't matter whether it's life or football, Dean figures; sometimes you throw yourself in harm's way just because that's how you do the job, because that's how you were taught to play the game.

That's so Dean. And:

Dean is frozen with it, overwhelmed. There are things he might do automatically when someone kisses ( ... )

Oh man, I'm so relieved! I was worried about being able to hit the right vibe, partly because I'm still struggling to get a grip on writing these characters, but mostly because I fell *so* in love with "Where I'll Be Tomorrow" - right from Sam shouldn't just look over with sarcasm on his tongue and find forever. I was utterly hooked by the sentiment, the enormity of getting slapped in the face with something that's so huge but still fits well in their context and flow. And I wanted to turn it around on Dean - 'cause you know if Sam wasn't expecting this little epiphany, Dean sure as hell wasn't.

So if I managed even a sliver of what I'd hoped for, well. Hurrah! Mostly I'm just really, really glad you liked it.

This is absolutely gorgeous.

It's a knot of contradiction that Dean can't untangle, not while Sam's hands are palming his neck, not while Sam's mouth is steady and firm against his. Sam said he was learning but it's the other way around; he's teaching Dean things neither of them should ever know.

Things a small, terrified part of Dean thinks they might have already known for years.

This is so beautiful. I love how it starts out all brotherly banter and teasing, then shifts so easily into intimacy. It's the kind of story that makes me feel all warm and cuddly and spend all day thinking about wonderful the boys are together. Lovely work.

Oh, *good*. I struggled a lot with hitting those different notes without making them jarring next to each other, so if that worked out at all...*is relieved*

Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed.

Mmm... I like this a lot, that first shock, and then everything clicking into place.

You've captured the apparent contradictions of Dean--the wiseass, the badass, the nurturer, the lover--with some lovely details and dialogue. I especially like the moments at the end when Dean is struggling to reconcile the world that he knew and the one he sees opening before him. Lovely job.
