As soon as I saw the first prompt suggesting it, I was like, "OOH, HEADCANON." As far as I'm concerned, River and the Doctor are Mycroft and Sherlock's parents until proven otherwise. The fact that Moffat is involved with both shows does not hurt.

It's so all of them and I really need to get around to watching Sherlock.

The fun of this was trying to capture everyone's voices. *g*

Sherlock is fun! The first episode is really good, the second episode is - well, it's awkward and racist but it does have Sarah, who is the only female character who is allowed to be awesome, and the third episode is brilliant. The second season starts January first, so now is an excellent time to get into it!

YES. This was originally supposed to be a bit longer and go a little into the visit to Leadworth, and I'd planned a part with Rory seeing how overwhelmed John was and just being like, "Come on and help me make some tea so you can breathe a bit."

I love that I am not the only one who sees this. :D

I tried! But everything after a point was suddenly awkward and clunky and did not work, so after a while I had to admit the the snippet was telling me it was not mean to go any further. I argued with it a bit, but, you know, I'm only the person at the keyboard, what do I matter? *g*
