It seems like everyone is hiring now, except I can't have any of them because I'm either underqualified or don't have the time because of school. The VA has three openings I like; Interpreter, marine mammal trainer and assistant marine mammal trainer. It makes me emotional. The pet store, Petland, also has job openings. If you apply for a job at the pet store, I hope you get it. That sounds like a really fun job with flexible schedules. Plus, lots of talking about animals all day.

I'd be worried about wanting to come home with every cute little critter in there, but I think you have more will power than I.

I'd have no problem stopping myself from bringing an animal home. After all the heartache with Sushi, I have no desire to bring in more additions to the family.

My one concern with the pet store would be sick babies coming in. After Sushi, several litters of baby ferrets with the same parasite were brought in. The store sent them all back until they started recieving healthy ferrets again. I'd worry about that happening again and getting Kipling and Twitch sick. =/

Teah that can be a concern.

If you keep a spray bottle of bleach water with a bit of parvocide in it by the door, you can spray your shoes and other things with it. Then, just remember to change your clothes before playing with the ferrets. Other than that, normal hand washing should take care of everything. That's basically what I used to do when helping new ferret owners, which included dealing with sick babies.
