The Walking Dead: My New Favorite Show

Seriously? A zombie TV series?  It's so nice when pop culture agrees to conform to my favorite things. AMC's "The Walking Dead" has everything a zombie movie needs: character-driven drama, gory scary zombies, moments of sheer panic, suspense and dread a-plenty ... and surely more.  I'm not sure how I missed out on the comic that the series is based

Yeah, they killed the horse. Booooooo.

I know! So awful, made me sad :(. And yet, I can understand that having a horse on set is just not realistic, in the long run. Probably better for the horse, too. Whose name is Blade! BTW.

Yeah, when I first saw the previews I figured that would be the end result, you're totally right, it's just not practical to keep a horse both on set or in that kind of storyline. But the bleeding heart in me was still =( about it.
