Awesomest FFVI fic ever

This is going to sound really random, but...

Long, long ago in a galaxy far far away there was a crazy amazing Terra/Shadow fic. I loved it to hell and back. There was even a sequel.

Unfortunately, at one point Fanfiction.net banned NC-17 fics and the fic was wiped from FF.net. The author was so pissed about it that she dropped writing the sequel. As

I've been kinda stalking you since I find your ramblings about fandom quite amusing. But this... I just had to delurk, because I heard about this fic and had already reconciled myself with the thought that I'd never get to read it.

You proved me wrong. Thank you <3 (Why is there not more Terra/Shadow FF6 fandom? You'd think people would be all "OTP!11!" after that boat conversation...)

P-people find me amusing? This is news. Where'd you hear about it? I remember it being popular, but that was quite a long time ago. :/

No problem! I'm just glad someone wanted to read it and I wasn't posting into the void. (I have no clue. I ship it no small part in thanks to this fic, but then again my FFVI ships pretty much come down to everyone/everyone. :P)

Well, it certainly amuses me. (And I like Berserk too, so there!)

I got into FF6 only after the NC-17 fic purge on ffnet, but I think some reviewer mentioned "Terra's Shadow" in a review for another T/S story or something like that. Or perhaps I stumbled upon the continuation of "Terra's Shadow". I think DarkSilk mentioned it at the beginning of the sequel.

Man am I ever glad you saved this to your hard drive!

I just started writing a Shadow/Terra story, and after mentioning this fic in my author's note for the first chapter a very kindly reviewer directed me here. I was quite distraught when this one suddenly disappeared out of my favorites list after the dreaded purge... which just goes to show I've been hanging around fanfiction.net for WAY too long.

I don't think I ever would have considered the possibility of this pairing until I discovered the story. Anyone out there who thinks it's totally implausible or some kind of bizarre crack!pairing obviously never had the pleasure of reading this.

I'm going to have that pleasure again today, all thanks to you! Too bad the author can't be persuaded to emerge from obscurity and finish the sequel...

As am I! I usually don't even do that, but I really did like this fic. :3

Oh, I shall have to keep a lookout for that, then. I don't think I've ever seen any Terra/Shadow outside of this fic, and ever since I read it I've had a definite soft spot for the pairing.
