This was amazing! It's EXACTLY how I imagine John (who needs help to remember what he was like before), Dean (who is so unselfish and willing to try to give Sam what he should have, and it's so poignant that he remembers this nurturing Dad from before, and he's so wise to see that this is something John needs to do), and Sammy (who is so innocent, and so SEVEN!, but I loved his worrying about Dean's nightmare, and that he realized how much work Dean had put into it).

Even your Bobby rocked.

I don't bookmark a lot of fic, but I am bookmarking this!

Oh, I adored this, and the ending made me tear up.

Sam's just the right level of little-brother annoying and adoring, and Bobby is flat-out awesome, and John needs to be drop-kicked, and DEAN!

(It is possible that I love Carlos the most. I need a picture of Sammy, Carlos, and the sombrero.)

Thank you, thank you! I'm glad Sam wasn't too obnoxious; I inadvertently made him too annoying in my first draft. And I love Bobby so much. In any form.

Carlos! Haha, happy you liked Carlos. I wrote that part almost a year and a half ago so I'm glad it's actually funny to someone besides myself.

That was so beautiful and bittersweet. I wanted to just hug everyone! Dean letting his dad teach Sammy how to ride the bike was so awww, and so sad at the same time. Very nice story.
