Mireille wasn't sure how long she had actually been at the hospital. She knew it had to be at least a few hours, it was already daylight out, but her mind kept wandering every time she thought to ask what time it was. When she'd finally arrived she'd been quite out of it, to the point where she knew she had answered questions about her injury, but ( Read more... )

Zelda had come as fast as possible; things were more difficult now that Ganondorf was keeping a closer eye on her. Still, the Princess of Hyrule risked it all one more time in order to get to a friend in need.

Her first reaction upon seeing Mireille had been shock, then fury at the one who had done it. It had taken some time to calm herself and figure out how and why Azula had done it; it looked as though it was not purposeful.

Zelda waited calmly for Mireille to wake up, not wishing to wake her up before she was ready.

Mireille wasn't actually sleeping, exactly...it was that sort of medicine-induced dozing people did when they were in too much pain to sleep but too drugged up to stay awake. But eventually her blue eyes fluttered open and fell on the form of the Princess sitting next to the bed.

"Oh...Salut, Zelda." She said absently, a little smile on her face. And then blinked and shook her head. "I mean...Hello, Zelda."

"How are you feeling?" Better, Zelda hoped, at least a little. Normal healing sometimes took much longer than it could with her magic. Judging by the extent of Mireille's injuries, it would take Zelda several days of intense healing, and it would leave them both exhausted.

That is to say, if Zelda could.

"Uhm," Mireille seemed uncertain how to answer that question, so she didn't for a few moments, shifting faintly in the bed and then lifting her burned arm to stare at it.

"It doesn't hurt as much as I thought it would. But...they gave me a couple shots of...some very strong things." She smiled absently and set her arm back down on her stomach.

"I will be back to normal in a month or two, I imagine."
