Yes, in fact my first computer was an XT-clone. Two 5.25" floppy drives, 640k RAM, and the awesome Hercules monochrome graphics card driving an amber monitor. (We later upgraded it to VGA.) The NEC 8088 chip had a "turbo" switch allowing you to double the normal 4.77 mHz clock to a blazing 10 mHz. Unfortunately, some games assumed standard XT clock speed, and thus ran impossibly fast under turbo mode.
