My laptop died today - Vista has an OTP

I swear I don't use this account for random every day blogging normally, but this is totally relevant:

My laptop died. And then it was resurrected. Most of my data is gone, GONE. That includes a whole chapter for Teammates, which I wrote yesterday. All my backups are at least a week old.

So yea, my uni stuff- GONE

hey hotstuff. So sorry to hear that. I only have 2 minutes but I wanted you to know you've got my sympathy. I go ballistic when computer stuff goes wrong. Erm, my advice is..Windows 7 is a LOT more stable and pls backup some essentials next time. Or get one of those Dropbox accounts, they're limited space but they're good. *hugs* don't worry you can collect more gifs..

I'm actually cracking up over the fact that even my laptop is too afraid of Santana to erase all the goodness.

I have backups... they are just a week old. So yea, as I said above: Store everything everyday.

I'm mostly bummed out, because now those who follow Teammates will have to wait even longer. I have been making them wait since I started to write 'Dear Brittany' :(

I would have installed Windows 7, but someone told me that laptops usually don't like having their operating system to be replaced.

Well, lesson learned. The hard way.
