Back to Florana: RP for Three, Liz, Jo and alt!Sarah

When Liz and Jo left the wardrobe room, Jo led the way back to the console room. The Doctor hadn't been there when they came in, but it was the most likely place to find him. Now that they'd dressed for it, it would be a shame not to go back to Florana and show Liz exactly what jam fish were

Liz followed Jo into the console room. The sheer size and scale of the TARDIS never ceased to amaze her. It was enough to stop her fussing about her new outfit, which was certainly saying something.

They hadn't seen the Doctor because he was lying on his back under the console fixing something.

He stood abruptly with a bright grin. "I wondered where you two had got yourselves to." Actually, he'd mostly been distracted with fixing the TARDIS and hadn't given much thought to it. Humans did tend to wander away if you didn't keep a close eye on them.

Sarah Jane knew that she couldn't just faff about in the future forever while writing little articles here and there and sending them under a pseudonym. She had been tracking down the Doctor because she wanted to travel and not to be quite cliche, but she wanted to see the reaches of time and space.

That had been why she was back in the TARDIS, key tucked into her pocket as she offered a bright smile, as though she were expected (even if she wasn't at all). "Hope you don't mind me barging in," she said, not very apologetic, before sharing a grin with Jo and who Sarah Jane assumed to be Liz.

"We were in the wardrobe room," Jo said to the Doctor. "Don't you think Liz looks nice?" She knew that if she didn't ask a leading question the Doctor was unlikely to notice Liz looked any different at all.

She smiled at Sarah when she came in. "Oh, you can come with us."

Then she turned back to the Doctor, as now she'd invited two people to Florana but not actually asked him to take them yet. "Can we go back to Florana, Doctor? You did promise us a jam fish." Although it wasn't just the jam fish she wanted to go there for.

Liz smiled at Sarah Jane, then looked at Jo with an expression that was part embarrassment and part indignation. Surely the Doctor wouldn't notice, or care if he did? Why did Jo have to point it out?

She had a strange urge to try and sink behind the TARDIS console.
