The Third Doctor opened the door. "Charley, you live here. You don't need to knock." He grinned at her.

The other two had gone off somewhere, and he'd been feeling a little bit lonely, not that he'd admit it.

"So what do you think of this brave new world. Very different from your own time...."

"That's what I wanted to talk with you about Doctor..." she returned his smile.

"Ohh it's Marvellous," there was that capital 'M' again. "I know I've been well into the future but something so close...it's I'm rather enjoying myself."

Charley nodded, "I ran into my Doctor...I mean the version of you I travelled with before all this. He...well he asked me if I'd go back with him. I told him I'd talk with you before I took my leave."
