Owen stands up, looking around, wondering if one of the girls are putting him on, deciding that he doesn't think it's very funny. His eyes narrow and he scans Cardiff, at least where he's standing, still not far from the Hub, so Gwen or Tosh must be nearby, watching him.
"Owen. I, uh, I'm Owen. Gwen, Tosh, is this you? This ain't funny. What are doin' with a thing like this?"
Hoping that it is them, because if not, he could be talking to an alien. And yeah, that, not something he wants to do tonight.
Rose smiled to herself at the accent. "Another Londoner, fantastic. Hello, Owen. My name's Rose. Where are you?"
She took one more sip of her tea and headed out of the TARDIS kitchen, muting the communicator as she called out for Thete. "Another one to pick up, love!"
Owen sighed and began walking away from the wall, heading back toward the Bay. In truth, he liked walking by the bay sometimes, he found it calming. Usually when he was in his rages and he wanted to punch something.
"Owen." She repeated the name, settling on a first name basis immediately. "Owen, I'm Nyssa. And it seems like you've been selected like the rest of us."
Owen glared. "Suzie!" Oh great, it allowed you to communicate with the dead. "What the bloody hell are you doing answering this thing? And I always have something contribute. Doctor, remember? Doctor Owen Harper! Hell, you didn't have a problem with me before," he added, getting a little cocky.
"You know what, you can sod off as well, you bint. I sure don't want to talk to you!"
"What do you mean what the hell am I doing answering--I have one of these, obviously! Did you expect I was right behind you talking? And if you looked over your shoulder just then to see if I was, then you're more dense than I thought. We've basically all got one of these. Everyone trying to save the universe, anyway. Which probably means you must've stolen yours from someone."
Ted was off at...well I suppose one could call it work...and Ace had the house to herself. She chuckled slightly when she realised she was cleaning the house. Since when had she begun to turn into a good little housewife? The communicator went off, she'd left it on the table. A very welcome distraction. She stopped what she was doing and picked up the communicator. "Hi there."

"Cardiff. By the Millennium Centre, actually."
