Theta Sigma stepped back into the house after wandering around the garden. This planet was so weird... like Gallifrey, except it wasn't

One thing you don't normally expect to see, when you are in the kitchen making tea, is yourself from the academy days enter through the door. The Doctor, the very last regeneration, set the tea kettle back on the stove after pouring the boiling water into a mug. Very ironic. There was his youngest self, and there he was, the oldest.
"Well, hello there! Fancy meeting you here." He greeted cheerfully, taking a sip of his tea before realizing he had forgotten his manners. "Could I offer you a spot of tea, perhaps?"
"I think I'd like more than just a spot. A cup would be nice." Theta Sigma grinned at the other man. "Thanks. My name's Theta Sigma. I've just arrived from Gallifrey. You are...?"
"A cup of tea it is, then." Turning he set down his mug, reaching into the cupboard to get a clean one. Filling it with boiling water he put in a tea bag and handed it to Theta with a smile.
"I'm the Doctor." He answered cheerfully, once again grabbing his own tea and taking a drink. "Or, Theta Sigma. Though I haven't gone by that name since I was," a pause as he eyed the younger man, "you."
Lynda took a bit of time from outside and the TARDIS to take a look inside the house. She hadn't met many people yet, but she's by no means anti-social. She gave the other person entering the kitchen a friendly smile. "Hello." She wasn't likely to be much help information-wise, but at least she's pretty?
Theta Sigma turned and offered the newcomer a dazzling grin. "Hello," he replied. "Do you live here? I'm Theta Sigma. I just got here from Gallifrey. Pleased to meet you. You are...?"
"I'm Lynda Moss," she answered, her smile growing a bit brighter. "I don't live here. I'm... visiting, I suppose." Not that she particularly wanted to go back to the 2002nd century.
"I see, I see." Theta Sigma's smile held fast, brilliant as ever. "A visitor. Like me. And most of the rest here, from what I gather. So what is it you do, Lynda Moss?"
Laura stared at him for a moment. She knew that name. "That's good. No I'm not the owner of the house. Technically at least." How to explain this. "I'm from another universe, but the me in this universe owns the house. Sarah Jane Smith. I go by Laura Roslin now, but it's a long story."
She smiled suddenly. "I've only been here a few days myself, but I guess Sarah thought who better to keep an eye on things than herself. I'm still figuring out where things are myself, though."
Theta Sigma beamed at her. "Well, Laura Roslin, pleasure to make your acquaintance. And I do suppose, yes, if I wanted my rooms looked after, who better than another version of me to do so, mmm? So... we have alternate universes crossing into this one as well. Intriguing, very intriguing."
A hand snaked up to rub the back of his neck. "That's trying to figure out where things are on a much larger scale, I think."
