I wonder if these are just rumours because I thought the producers said they weren't planning on bringing back the Master (as much as I love him). Plus, if Donna comes back, her head will explode, and how will they get Rose back? They've blown so many holes in the universe already.
They already did the 'lets bring all the companions back for the final' thing. Give us something new this time. -- agreed, although I would love to see Martha again =D
The producers did say that the Master won't be returning but it wouldn't surprise me at all if they eventually changed their minds (and I won't be unhappy at all since I love the Master).
Martha's the really only (female) companion that they could bring back (without breaking canon). I'd love to see her return since she's awesome.
