I've recently come to the conclusion that I'm getting tired of the TRC fandom. It's just getting too damn crazy; I miss the days when KuroFay fans were sane, when we'd spend hours fangirling over the crossover characters, when bashing didn't happen (well, FayChii fans bashed Hideki but I'm not sure if he counts since he's not in TRC yet), etc

I really hope we get more of the hunter/vampire subplot soon. Right now would be good because we have r!Syaoran and Seishirou is bound to see the difference and much fun could be had with that.
4) It'll give the group time to rest since Seishirou and Kamui can battle it out over Subaru.
PLZ CLAMP. I WANT. Kamui would bitch and attack and Seishirou would smile darkly and tease him and Subaru would wibble because his twin a boyfriend can't get along. Or d33p angst that will make me cry. I AM UP FOR EITHER.

Fuuma also needs to be there for the fight! Seeing Kamui worked up turns him on. I think I'll cry if Fuuma hasn't been stalking Kamui since they left Acid Tokyo.

Oh yes, Fuuma needs to show up at some point. If for no other reason than Kamui is so cute when he's cranky.

I remember years ago though, when I first got into Cardcaptors (yes, CARDCAPTORS). The forums were a nightmare. They were full of 14 year olds who made every discussion into an anti-abortion debate! And I really don't know how that can have anything to do with CCS. And they all rabidly denied Tomoyo/Sakura and Toya/Yukito too. Ugh, the bad old days.

I really don't understand why so many people think Nihon will be next. It doesn't make sense to me both logically and story-wise. Nihon is rather like feudal Japan, I'd imagine the best way they'd have to fix Kurogane's wound would be to cauterize it...which isn't pretty. They need another transition world first.
I agree that the subplot is probably going to come back up, that splash page wasn't thrown in there for no reason. There's so many lose ends to be tied up still. o_o
I banged my head a bit when one poster thought they'd have to go back to Tokyo for a continuation of the X!subplot, way to go for not noticing they can dimension hop. D:

The X subplot may not be next but I still say it'll happen at some point between vols 21-23. I'd laugh if the story jumped back to Sakura though since everyone hates her.
The person who thought they had to return to Tokyo for the subplot to continue also made me bang my head against the wall. The twins and Fuuma mentioned they were leaving at the end of the arc. Talk about not paying attention.

You have a point that going to Nihon will finally kill Kurogane/Tomoyo but I think CLAMP has already tried to kill it and the fans just aren't getting it. Like we had Kurogane being totally pissed over Fay wanting to die, Kurogane bounding himself for life to Fay being his bait and now Kurogane sacrificing his arm for Fay to live. I'm not sure what else he can do for the KT fans to get that he 'likes' Fay since he's not exactly a character who would admit his feelings out loud.

3) is a good point in favor of the foursome showing up again soon, I think. CLAMP need to be tying up their loose ends as they're nearing the end of the story, and they can't leave that subplot unconcluded, since Seishirou still has the feather as far as we know.
What makes people think Nihon's going to come next? Because of the curse mark bit? Personally I don't expect them to go to Nihon until the very end, since it doesn't really have a conflict to be resolved other than whether Kurogane will end up staying there. And dealing with that just after Celes is way too much.

I'm really not sure why they're convinced that Nihon is next. I heard plenty of people say that Tomoyo can use magic to heal Kurogane but I don't know if that's the only reason why they think it'll happen.
I agree with you, there's no real conflict going on there so there's no reason to go now. Kurogane has already said he wants to get revenge so it's not like there's this big dilemma where they'd have to convince him to continue with the journey.
