Yes, it's VERY 'fanficy'... Mary Bonny is a real Mary Sue! The first thing I thought when I read it was "Oh! A female Jack!" XD She really looks like a female version of him...
And thanks for the translation part! ;) Sometimes I have to change some things so it would make better sense... They sometimes seem to translate word for word and you go "Huh? That makes no sense at all!" Sometimes I think that the people who translate this comic don't know a thing about the pirates movies... how sad....
