Even though he still had food left on his tray in front of him, Hasshi had abandoned it, momentarily, for his cell phone, after it had chimed with a new message. It was from an old friend back home, wishing him a happy birthday.

Smiling a bit, Hasshi went to type back a reply when Takaki sat down. He looked up at him and smiled, nodding his head in acknowledgment. "Good morning, Takaki-kun!"

Hashimoto smiled and waved when he spotted Takaki again, rising from his spot. "Takaki-kun, are you ready to go?" Looking away thoughtfully, he added, "Ah, I don't know how far the amusement park is... should we take a bus there, maybe?"

Takaki nodded in response to Hasshi's question. "I think the amusement park is a few train stops over from the station that's close to here...but we'd have to take a bus over there."

The two boys walked to the bus stop and luckily only had to wait a few minutes for the right bus. Takaki insisted on paying for Hasshi's fare--it was his treat after all. They sat down together in the middle of the bus, and Takaki looked up at the bus route to make sure they got off at the right stop.

ooc: sorry to make you wait! >w< been...busy and preoccupied ^^;;; i'll try to be on here more often from now.....until school XD; btw, how's the forum thing coming along?

Hasshi tried to protest when Takaki paid for his bus fare but was ultimately denied, the quirk of his lips ruined by the light blush that stained his cheeks. Takaki barely knew him, he shouldn't be treating him like this...

It only took a few seconds before silence fell over them, making Hasshi feel awkward and nervous. He wasn't good at starting conversations... "How have you been, Takaki-kun?" he asked politely. "Since Okinawa, I mean."

ooc- Now I'm making you wait D: And I don't even have a good excuse ^^; It's almost done, we should be able to open it up to the old community members, at least, soon ;)
