For all your Quarantine needs, my weekly review is up. I love the password thing :) And, Atlantis is TOTALLY trying to keep John and Rodney as the OTP!
seriously. John's furtive touches of numbers/math genius makes me go to a v.v.v.v. happy place. Of epic proportion even.
Atlantis *knows* a good thing when she sees one. (seriously, how sad is it that that was the one thing running through my mind as Rodney tries to propose and BAM! QUARANTINE) And I know some fans are like: the writers are harshing my slash with canon, but! But! how is that possible when they just reaffirm the reasons Kate and Rodney are bad/good for each other in A WORST CASE SCENARIO. From their own mouths even. *makes rabid squeaking noises* *coughs*
Quarantine just re-affirmed ALL the slash because not only is Atlantis herself against this pairing, Rodney was willingly playing video golf with Sheppard (a game he hates in real life) just because he could do it WITH JOHN. Not to mention the fact that John is devastated when he sees the ring (I love Joe for playing John the way he has) and that John's first thought is of Rodney's mental health, not how he's going to get them out of the situation. ALSO, John knows Rodney's password...Rodney TOLD HIM his password (which is a huge HUGE deal considering Rodney would never tell anyone his password ever, but he told John!)
