Please to assist.

Based on something fajrdrako mentioned the other day (here), some evil little plotbunnies have begun scampering about in the petri dish that is my brain. Apropos of which - if anyone is up for sharing I would very much love to hear anyone's very own oh-please-not-again-never-again Jack/Ianto fic tropes.

Because, you know ... mwahahahahaha.

Having had about a month of everyone except Gwen thinking Jack's dead to get used to his abscence, the Torchwood team promptly fall apart when he runs off with the Doctor. Ianto is emo, and sleeps in a curled up ball under the desk in Jack's office.
Jack realises how much he misses Ianto and leaves the Doctor to be with him. It wasn't the same anyway, with his new regeneration. Ianto and Jack are reunited, and Jack says he "had to go" and he's "sorry" and "won't leave again" and "won't have sex with people of the non-Ianto persuasion either".
And they all live happily ever after, until one or both of them gets pregnant (which I don't hate in theory, but arrrgh - I like to think the chances of someone from the 51st century not having some kind of permanent but turn-off-able contraceptive are fairly remote.)

Meanwhile, Chaos quietly claws her eyes out in the corner.

...actually, it doesn't sound so bad, all in one fic like that - rather interstingly crackish.

I'm envisioning a blanket-fort made of Jack's greatcoat.

(The coat definitely goes on my list, by the way ... )

Owen tries to take it, once, and Ianto scratches him, bringing up angry looking red welts on the back of his hand. He spends the rest of the day hissing whenever anyone comes near, his ears pressed flat against the back of his skull.
Owen abandons both coat and cat with a curse, and goes to triple-check the research indicating that alien-induced felinity isn't contagious.
