At least he had been expecting someone to come over: and by now he was used to no one waiting for the door to be opened for them. It was irritating, yes, but something he had come to anticipate. Shinjiro had simply looked up the stove, where he had been tending to a sizzling pan of stirfry (the rice-cooker seemed to be keeping warm off to the side,) And scowled at her as she popped by and proceeded to start moving his furniture around.

"What are-- don't move my shit." But he couldn't just leave the food to burn... damn it. After glancing over his shoulder for a short moment, he reached over to adjust the heat and move the pan, earning himself enough time to step from the kitchen and watch her dragging coffee tables and moving sheets. "The fuck are you doing?"

he didn't wait long for an answer before returning to check on the food and calling out: "And if you don't like stir-fry I hope you brought your own shit." He hadn't felt like putting more effort into dinner. Yes, he owed her, but that didn't mean he'd cater to her.

"If I dont move this shit I wont be able to build anything." She moved over to the dining room table instead, dragging the chairs and spreading them out. She smiles over at him, that kind of smile that said mischief was on its way. "Stir-fry is fine. I hope you like popcorn because I brought a shit ton."

Kajali dug into her bag, pulling out the wadded mess of sheets. "I'll need your help dragging down your mattresses. and putting these up. It'll be worth it though."

"..." Building anything...? Just what had he gotten himself into. A low exhale and he shook his head. "...Lemme finish this and I'll be there. Don't don't break anything." It seemed about ready, anyway. Removed from the heat and again set to the side, he turned off the stove and moved back to the main room to examine the damage.

At the sight of sheets and moved things, he was beginning to recognize what she was doing. At least, it had been years since he'd helped some of the younger kids build a stupid fort. "..Really, Kajali?"

...Well fuck it, he was game. It wasn't as though his roommate ever actually stayed the night anyway. "I'll grab the one over my bed, no one's usin ' it. Where's it gonna go?" This was retarded, but hey, why not.

"Oh fuck you. You're never too old for living room forts." She grins though when he doesn't argue, glancing up at him as she shakes out the sheets. "In-between the chairs. we can put a broom handle in the middle and brace it with something to hold the middle up."

It smelled fucking delicious in his room though, the smell from the stir-fry wafting into the living room and making her stomach growl. Oh god, maybe he could cook. "That smells bloody amazing."
