Momiji was indeed on her way out of the locker room, a towel draped about her shoulders. She had just changed, so the clothes were fresh, though her hair was still moist and fluffy from the shower. She looked a bit like a dog, like that... Something that was best to not be pointed out. Especially with the look she got when she saw Aya...

She had her own conflicts about it, still. A ton of them, really. Aya was her childhood friend. She was her protectorate. She was... female. It was all so confusing, still. So what had Momiji done? She... she ran away from it. She ran to Hatate, fearing things would start the part the moment she accepted the reality of the situation. The reality that...

... she wanted Aya, too.

"I'm on my way back to my dorm. If you want to talk, just follow me."

The second those words left Momiji's mouth, Aya stepped up into lockstep with her guard. Since they were sharing footsteps, the sound echoed a bit louder in the hallway. Aya listened to the noise a bit before speaking up.

"You know what I'm going to say."

"I can predict an opponents next move on a shogi board easily enough, but you always seem to surprise me with your words, so I wouldn't make an assumption like that if I were you," Momiji shrugged.

"There's no reason to be smart about it. I just want an answer to the question I asked. You know, the one where I asked you out." There, she dropped the bomb. Her stomach sank a little, fearing the worst for an answer.
