Marisa wasn't asleep, but she was pretty tipsy and the empty bottle of vodka sitting on the kotatsu with two glasses, the remnants of popcorn and the packaging of a new video game might have warned Floe if she was paying attention.

Aya had left about thirty minutes ago, so Marisa was in her pajama set laying on her stomach on her bed, laptop open before her. The screen was giving the only illumination to the room, reflecting off her glasses, as she... was apparently playing Oregon Trail.

And 'Floe' just died of dysentery. "Damnit, Floe," she muttered to herself, not realizing her roommate had actually come back.
