Excellent. Very angsty and well-written as always. The seemingly overwhelming faith Smellerbee and Longshot have for Jet is both inspiring and sad at the same time.
It didn't matter as long as they all lived.
That line defined the whole relationship between them, to me.

Thank you very much! The fact that they're the only ones out of that huge group that are still with him makes me wonder what happened after Aang and the others left the camp--I've heard one theory that the villagers came back afterward and burned the forest, and they were the only survivors, but...yeah, I'd rather believe that Longshot and Smellerbee were the only ones willing to stay with him to the bitter end, even if that meant reformation.
