I lost 5 KGs!!!! I am so excited!!!! Thats about 11 pounds I think. I checked my weight when I first got into Japan, and then I checked it this morning and saw I lost that much. Wowwie, how awesome eh

Sounds like you made out like a bandit at that shop, and I'm suprised to hear how much DVD's were. Sorry about your wrist. And as far as an outfit, I'd say splurge and get both, who knows when you'll have an opportunity to get them again?

As cute as schoolgirl costumes are, I think you should get a yukata. You will still be able to wear it when you get older.

I really have to agree that a full summer Kimono is cooler and more irreplacable. you can always get a school girl costume in town here. :)

That IS awesome! Congrats on the weight loss! That's something I'm struggling with myself :) I hope you're taking lots of pictures to share! My Aunt Cindy went to Japan 2 years ago for some kind of teaching workshop and really enjoyed herself there!
