So my computer STILL is not fixed. I called everyone I know who's ever worked in any kind of IT and did everything they told me, and while it got better, it's still not actually working. I'm on my old laptop now that nolonger holds a charge so it must be plugged in at all times but the cable has a break in it so it has to be gingerly held in or the ( Read more... )

My mom is awesome. She once set up an elaborate prank so that once when she knew I was going to go to her house while she was at work to play Wii it wouldn't work, so I would have to call her and she walked me through pushing some buttons and stuff until finally I hit the one that started a Rickroll on the TV. She'd spent the night before using the browser to get to YouTube, recording it to a tape in the VCR, then switching the VCR input to where the Wii input normally was.
