Oh, and I forgot to tell you guys-- the heater for the downstairs part of the house is broken. Downstairs and upstairs heating is separate, which my land lady never told me, and it turns out I could've changed the heating down here whenever I wanted and it wouldn't have affected her. Thanks for letting me know, D! She also has a small space heater

Ugh! Hope you get that heat back, girl--I remember what winter is like up there!

I can't blame you for thinking it was the window. Windows can cause all kinds of problems. Especially down south, where opening a window for more than about 30 seconds can cause a severe insect infestation throughout your entire house.

It got fixed this afternoon, but it's still cold in here because my landlady's a punk and won't turn it above 65.
