pure maple syrup on snow? fucking greatest thing in the world. well, except for kung fu in the snow. /that/ was fucking fun. but seriously. maple syrup--what, like four bucks? snow--free (just make absolutely certain it's clean). endless entertainment. and definitely made for sharing, so, come visit!

j'adore the Beloit College library. all these old books. so gorgeous. old style bindings, a couple hundred years old, some with red or gold edged pages... dust. with fingerprints in it. (as in, 'only a very few people have come to this book.' there's a sense of exploration.)

our internet is not reliable at all. it's been fucked all day.
my sound has been faltering. it's not just the speakers. i hate not being able to play music. it sounds like a cd skipping really badly, except i'm playing digital files.
