Somehow, it got hot again. I noticed this halfway through my round of golf yesterday, and, when I got back to the car, the Subaru said it was 98 degrees. So, that's pretty hot. I totally couldn't handle the heat. I drove the ball well, had a pretty good game out of the greenside bunkers, and hit a couple of greens in regulation, but my putting ( Read more... )

Karl (my winkatet buddy from Civic) just bought a pristine pre-war bocal for his pre-war Heckel; both are from the early 1920's. Apparently this has made everything ALL BETTER for his setup. He was making noises about buying a new bassoon. Now he just has to sink lots of dough into the current machine. It's really exciting - another winkatet buddy says that he sounds even better, and this was the guy who nailed the Rite of Spring solo 7 times in a row in rehearsal our first year. Yikes.

Gotta love when law enforcement violates the rights of the citizens. When in doubt...get a warrant!!! Or make damn sure you have the probable cause to execute the search. I live this end of it!
